ESTUDIO ESTADÍSTICO DE LA INCIDENCIA DEL NIVEL SOCIOECONÓMICO EN EL DESARROLLO DE LAS COMPETENCIAS PARENTALES VINCULARES EN LA CIUDAD DE GUAYAQUIL

Abstract:

This paper aims to establish the incidence of the socio-economical levels of families in the development of bonding parental competence in the city of Guayaquil, where an analysis of the various documentary bases and scientific review that supports this theme is carried out. A mixed methodology was applied, through a qualitative and quantitative review of the bibliographic and statistical information related to the subject. The results obtained made it possible to verify that the socioeconomic conditions of many families that are in the lower and middle strata affect the bonding parental functions, whose parenting styles have a negative effect on the development of children and adolescents. Therefore, it is necessary to develop social intervention programs that allow integrating elements of educational and community models to strengthen this type of skills. For this study we selected a sampling of 147 cases and a contingency table was used as well as coefficient C of Person for calculation.
