ETHICS IN BUSINESS DECISION MAKING: A CASE STUDY


Abstract:

Currently, executives are looking for companies to be competitive and generate profits in the market. Throughout the last decades, an issue that has been kept in mind is business ethics; Given that it is a relevant issue, the objective has been to analyze the application of ethical standards by managers and potential decision makers, as well as contrast the differences that arise in relation to experience taking the years in office, for this case study, managers of mipymes in the city of Machala were considered. The approach was quantitative, using inferential statistics to test the hypotheses raised in the research. The results of the study proved that there is no significant difference between administrators with experience greater than 7 years and those with experience less than 7.
