EXTENSIONIST MANAGEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONALIZATION PROCESS

Abstract:

Extension management of the process of University internationalization is organized and developed according to the social mission entrusted, whose essence is to develop socialization through processes that allow the multilateral training of future professionals with sound scientific and cultural knowledge. To this end, it must be built at community and society-wide levels as a project, rethinking the traditional and rigid ways of conceiving educational work only in curricular terms. This requires extension management to foster dialogues with the community within and outside the university, not only transferring knowledge, but also to share and learn from it, their experiences, needs and aspirations, which will allow them to construct in a participatory way in improving the project, transforming or giving solution to existing socio-cultural demands.
