Ecology of learning in higher education. A look from the immersion of technologies


Abstract:

The theme of this study is associated with the problem of the traditional acquisition of learning by students in the context of Ecuadorian higher education, for which the objective was to know the level of satisfaction of teachers and students of the University of Guayaquil, with relation to the application of learning ecologies and its evolution with the immersion of digital technologies at the level of higher education. It was carried out under a quantitative, descriptive, field approach, using two questionnaires for data collection. The selection of the sample was carried out through stratified sampling, where each stratum was a career, then applied a simple random sampling, choosing 104 teachers and 288 students. Among the results, it was evidenced that the teachers have a medium level of acceptance on the metamorphosis of learning, and the students a high level; for connectives learning, most teachers expressed a medium level of acceptance, and students a low level. In conclusion, most of the participating teachers and students have a medium level of acceptance regarding the application of learning ecologies and their evolution with the immersion of digital technologies.
