Efectividad de la técnica de B Lynch en el manejo de la hemorragia posparto por atonia uterina durante la cesárea Hospital Alfredo Paulson período octubre del 2016 hasta septiembre del 2017
Abstract:
Objective: To determine the efficacy of the B Lynch technique in the management of postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atony during cesarean section Methodology: It is a retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive, indirect observational study. The clinical history data were collected; the variables chosen were analyzed in the SPPS Statistics 25 program.. Results: . We analyzed 122 patients with primary postpartum hemorrhage secondary to uterine atony was effective in 95% of the cases, of which only one patient required ligation of the uterine artery in the remaining 5% patients the technique was not effective and a hysterectomy was applied to stop the bleeding. Conclusion: The B Lynch technique is effective in the management of postpartum hemorrhage and in the prevention of hysterectomy and decreases the rate of blood transfusions.
