Efecto de la aplicación de Protohormonas sobre la incidencia del estrés fisiológico de mazorcas o marchitamiento prematuro (Cherelle wilt) en Cacao (Theobroma cacao), en la zona de Babahoyo

Abstract:

SUMMARY The cocoa is one of the items of more relevance in the agricultural structure of Ecuador and entrance source for thousands of rural families. The investigation works have more than enough fertilization in the cultivation of the cocoa, they have been relatively scarce. At level world decades of investigation they show that the premature marchitez or Cherelle wilt, it has been a visible problem in the plantations, diminishing the yield of the same ones. The bioestimulantes use, physiologic activators or protohormonas generators are among the agricultural cultural practices that are implementing in the cultivations. The objectives of the work were: To determine the incidence of Cherelle wilt in a commercial plantation of cocoa, to evaluate behavior from the cultivation to the protohormonas applications in the cultivation of cocoa, to identify the best protohormonas treatment in the cultivation of cocoa and to carry out the economic analysis of the evaluated treatments. The design of complete blocks was used at random with 9 treatments and 3 repetitions. For the evaluation of stockings the test was used from Tukey to 95% of probability. The evaluated variables were: Number of plants with Cherelle, Number of ears with Cherelle for tree, Diameter of attacked ears, Longitude of attacked ears, Percentage of Cherelle, Decrease of Cherelle 30, 60 and 90 days after the application, Yield for tree, Yield for hectare and economic Analysis Obtained the yields were determined that the protohormonas applications on plants of cocoa, have direct influence on the incidence of Cherelle Wilt. The use of a more nutritional program Stymplex in dose of 0,75 L/ha, the number of ears increased, diminishing the damage of Cherelle. It was achieved increments of 250% more envelope the absolute witness, with the application of the treatments. The biggest percentage in decrease of incidence of Cherelle was presented to the 90 days after the applications, with the application of Stymplex 0,75 L/ha (93,3%) and Stymplex to the 0,5 L/ha (90,7%).
