Efectos de la gestión por competencias sobre la productividad en una empresa manufacturera en la ciudad de Quito
Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to know or identify what are the effects of a competency-based management on productivity in a private manufacturing company from Quito. For this, a sample of 60 people from the production area will be chosen. of the company to apply a semi-structured interview that responds to the objectives of the research, additionally, the production of a year where competence management was not yet implemented will be compared with the first year where the latter was implemented, through a comparative matrix of productivity, in order to know the factors that influence productivity and to identify if the management of human talent by competences increases productivity. The scope of the research is descriptive with a mixed approach, since on the one hand numerical data will be analyzed and on the other, the perspective of the workers regarding productivity will be identified. With the aforementioned, it will be possible to establish if there is a direct connection between the human talent subsystems by competencies with the productivity in an organization, that is to say, if a selection by competences guarantees that the collaborators possess skills and knowledge that allow them to perform better in their work and therefore increase their effectiveness. This research also aims to give greater relevance to the management of human talent in manufacturing companies.
