Agonist behavior in male Cavia porcellus iln an overcrowding context

Abstract:

The present study focuses on animal behavior (AB), specifically on the aggressive behavior of Cavia porcellus, known colloquially as guinea pig. Behavior can be understood as the way in which individuals behave in their life, always in relation to their environment, and these, in turn, are presented as a result of external stimuli. The study can contribute to the advancement of research lines in the field of AB study. The study concludes that there is only a difference in aggressiveness in relation to the variable "shows teeth". The results found can help to have an adequate handling of the animals in the experimentation process, allowing researchers to extend the area related to the study of behavior, its causes, consequences and the processes of AB.
