Efficient cooking program in chimborazo province: Technical analysis and energy demand

Abstract:

This research aims to analyze the energy demand which would represent for EERSA (Empresa Electrica Riobamba Sociedad Anonima)include the total of residential subscribers in the efficient cooking program called PEC, this implies to change the LPG kitchens by Induction cookers. The study is based in energy consumption generated in kWh, before and after joining PEC program, analyzing in addition the monthly progress of the number of PEC affiliates since its inception, resulting that the Chimborazo province demands 0.314 % of the total energy that will produced by the new energy projects whose are implementing in Ecuador. With the increase PEC suscriptors tendency result, we estimated that in approximately 55 years all residential subscribers will be registered on PEC program.
