Efficient hybrid method for the analysis of radial-line slot arrays loaded with parasitic strips
Abstract:
This paper proposes a simple and efficient hybrid method to deal with large arrays of slots and strips in a grounded dielectric slab. The method evaluates efficiently the Sommerfeld integrals in the Green's Function of a layered media, combining the Discrete Complex Image Method (DCIM) for short distances and a numerical evaluation of the integrals along its Steepest Descent Path using a Gauss-Hermite quadrature for greater distances. The method is applied to a large strip-loaded slot array antenna.
