Abstract:

Corporate governance has in recent years become a key indicator of good management and social responsibility of companies and financial institutions. In this case research will be basedonthe Organic Law of Popular and Solidarity Economy (LOEPS), Organic Monetary and Financial Code and theunifiedcode of good governance In order ores pond to this need and taking as a starting point the Basic Principles and Cooperative Values, the theoretical framework will be presented, strengthening gtheresearchwith a background. TheOrigin of the Code of GoodGovernance - CBG. The first Code of Good Governan cepublished in 1992 in theUnited Kingdom, the "Cadbury Report", which has resulted in a cascade of codes at theinternationa llevel. Spainwasthe Olivencia Code in 1998, followedby the Aldama Code in 2003. Todaythe Unified Code of Good Governan ceorthe Conthe Code, approved in May 2006. Because a cording to the European Corporate GovernanceInstitute, 2009, 73 countries have publishe dsomecode, values, principle storeroom mendations, 253 of which are the Codes of corporate governance, principles and recommendation sthatha vebeen published in theworldsince 1992, not always being the governing body of thesecodes. "A Code of Corporate Governanceis a set of non-mandatory principles, standard sorgood practices, formulated by a certain group and related to the internal Government of organizations."
