Aislamiento e identificación de metabolitos secundarios a partir de Jatropha nudicaulis con posible actividad antiparasitaria.
Abstract:
Jatropha nudicaulis is a species endemic of Ecuador, the aerial parts were collected, in the Catamayo canton in the province of Loja, Ecuador. Three extracts were obtained with solvents: hexane, ethyl acetate and methanol, the extract with the highest yield was the methanol extract of with 7.90%, and the extract with lower performance was the ethyl acetate extract with 1.90%. The three extracts were chromatographed on an open column; of the extract of ethyl acetate unchlorinated obtained a mixture of 3 compounds that were identified by spectroscopic techniques as NMR, GC-MS and corraborated with literature, which were identified as: (1) eicosano, (2) heneicosano, and (3) propyl ester of palmitic acid; of the methanolic extract obtained a pure compound of molecular weight 218 g/mol molecular weight compound which showed a single in GC/MS and a single spot in liquid chromatography (TLC), with melting point 210-211°C and soluble in acetone which is probably benzene decyl.
