Abstract:

The present work and research was generated from the necessity of an answer to the Child sexual abuse problematic. Multiple researches and studies show that sexual abuse has many negative consequences that affect physical, intellectual, emotional and social aspects of children. Since child sexual abuse rates are extremely high in Ecuador, we considered important to do some research on this topic, and to do it we chose a public institution that belongs to INFA: “Centro de Desarrollo Infantil Carolina Terán”. The purpose of this investigation is to know the rate of sexual abused children between ages four and five, and determinate its consequences on their behavior and learning processes.
