El nuevo sujeto social del consumo responsable (Estudios)
Abstract:
Consumerism has caused the unsustainability of the production and consumption model, whose negative effects are reflected in global warming, pollution, destruction of the ecosystem and deepening of the wealth-poverty paradox. The consumerist ideology constitutes the main instrument of domination and consolidation of capitalism, as opposed to the inconsequential alternative epistemic pluralism and the ideological inconsistency of the ecological paradigm, and the social and solidarity economy (ESS), which limits arrive to theoretical budgets that are opposed to eurocentrism, as is the case of socially responsible consumption (CSR).
