Elaboración de un Plan de Manejo Ambiental para la Disminución de la Contaminación Ocacionada por la Empresa INPAPEL Cia. Ltda.

Abstract:

"The present investigation is carried out to elaborate an Environmental Management Plan for INPAPEL CÍA. LTDA. An environmental card is thought to be given by the Environmental Ministry assuring the production quality on the basis of the unified text of Environment Legislation (TULAS) and of ISO 18000 Norms using equipment such as GPS, Sonometer Quest Models Qc- 10, etc. For the impact determination the method of Relevant Criteria Integrated on the basis of the following indicators have been used: character, intensíty, extension, duration, magnitude, reversibility and impact risk. The risk evaluation was calculated determining the potential severity of damage (consequences) and the occurrence probability within enterprise. The higher impacts are the noise emission with a maximum of 105.3 Db and an average of 97.3 Db surpassing the noise range (8d Db). After having evaluated the risk in the enterprise the constant noise exposition within the critical range (900) was found which 1 have medium term and long term consequences. After these evaluations the measures included in the environment Management Plan were filed divided them into programs of: prevention, solid waste handling, occupational security, signaling, contingencies, community relations, training, monitoring and follow- up. It is recommended to create an Environment Department and implement prevention measures as to the noise emission mainly in the production area ao Inpapel Cía. Ltda."
