Elaboración de un diagnóstico para desarrollar una propuesta de conservación para las comunidades Waorani de Tobeta y Miwaguno que fortalezca los ámbitos social, económico y ambiental en la provincia de Orellana.

Abstract:

This work presents the results of a research process conducted in the Waorani communities from Tobeta and Miwaguno, located in the province of Orellana. The research is based on developing an ecological conservation plan to contribute to the social and natural empowerment of the Waorani communities of Tobeta and Miwaguno. This document is part of the situational diagnosis, focusing on general aspects of the waorani culture, the history, the daily life and worldview of the indigenous communities. We also highlight the environment reality, especially all the Amazonian biodiversity that has been exploited. On the other hand we have considered the social situation in the waorani communities, the infrastructure of basic services referred in a diagnostic. We can observe the organizational structure in the communities, and also the social-political form of government and juridical aspects. The research is based on learning more about the problematic that the communities of Tobeta and Miwaguno are facing, preparing an analysis and discussion of results. Finally, we found the conservation plan to propose for the waorani communities of Tobeta and Miwaguno in order to strengthen the social, economic and environmental sphere of these communities.
