Alternatives to reduce the urban and agricultural waste: Bioenergy potential in El Oro province
Abstract:
This article addresses one of the most current and worrying issues in our environmental, social and economic environment, since it is focused on generating a correct treatment and destination of the organic and agricultural wastes that are generated through the daily activities of daily life. For this, in the city of Machala, we have applied the use of biodigestors as a medium for the production of CH4 and CO2 (greenhouse gases) by anaerobic decomposition of these residues with the objective of obtaining bioenergetic and organic resources, since when they are treated they generate economic, environmental and social benefits, for example; generate electricity from which the same producers generate economic savings and a greater profit, production of liquid fertilizer, organic-solid, which is beneficial to them.
