Elderly nutrition Impact from the social headquarters of the Ambulatory Care Center No. 302 of the canton Cuenca-Ecuador, Year 2015


Abstract:

The present investigation was realized in Coyoctor Community which is located in El Tambo, in 2015 it sought to find cohesion levels, adaptability and family functionality in families that take care of senior people around 65 years old or older, with or without high blood pressure. This is tranversal-analysis, in which two families groups were used: The first group had under it's care senior people with HBP and the second group with senior people without this pathology; in both cases, after applying the FF SIL test, the family functionality analysis was established, and then the FACE III test was applied to evaluate cohesion and adaptability. With the information a database was created, from which charts were defined, figures that supported the description and analysis of the results. As a conclusion the HBP is a chronic degenerative pathology that is a risk factor to produce dysfunctionality in a family group.
