Encuadre de la gestión de comunicación de crisis gubernamental en Ecuador durante la pandemia Covid-19

Abstract:

The present research work has the general objective of identifying the framework of government communication in the context of Covid19 in Ecuador in 2020. For this, a qualitative study was proposed, which allowed, on the one hand, to analyze the framework that the Ecuadorian government used it in official communication on Twitter, this was done by analyzing the publications of the Communication Secretariat and the Risk Secretariat. On the other hand, the framework provided by the media to government communication was analyzed, for this purpose the accounts of the newspapers El Comercio (@elcomerciocom) and El Universo (@eluniversocom) in the microblogging social network were analyzed. For the analysis, an information framing and the content analysis technique were carried out, among the main results obtained is the framing of information from newspapers and official government accounts, in addition to determining whether or not there was a strategy government communication in the face of the pandemic.
