Engineering education in Spain: Seven years with the Bologna Process: First results


Abstract:

The year 2012, the IEEE Education Society Spanish Chapter published a study about the introduction of the Bologna Process in engineering degrees in several Universities in Spain. The study tried to know the professors' thoughts about the core aspects of this process and its deployment in their institutions. Five years later, the IEEE Education Society Spanish Chapter is carrying out a similar study taking into account that the EHEA has been active at least for seven years. The study has two parts. The paper presents the structure of the study, and the results of the first part, comparing (when possible) with the results of the 2012 study.
