Entendimiento y caracterización del Sumak Kawsay - Buen Vivir en Ecuador durante el periodo presidencial del eco. Rafael Correa Delgado (2007 - 2014)

Abstract:

This work is mainly focused on the theoretical discussion on the Good Living or Sumak Kawsay, seeks to understand and study the debates that have been opened regarding the understanding of it, therefore, the object of this research is based on documents interpretation that support the government plan and guidelines of the state apparatus that propose in principle this Good Living or Sumak Kawsay. This paper seeks to understand and conceptualize the content of this concept in the national framework, finding their origin, their cultural reference, its relationship to the development and destiny, describe and study likewise analyzed discussions from the worldview of Alianza País, especially in the context of government action. In other to reach this objective I divided into four chapters this research, that will lead to an understanding at first instance and in a second time to do an analysis of data on public policies implemented. Throughout these chapters will seek to deal with the theoretical debate that surrounds the concept of Sumak Kawsay, its history, development and principles in a general context, then the study will focus on Ecuador and Latin America, to understand how Sumak Kawsay born, how this term becomes the cornerstone of the constitution of our country in 2008 and how it is understood. Then we will deal with the description of data, we will attend to the Sumak Kawsay as a national project and quantitatively describes progress of transformation that the National Secretary of Planning and Development proposed for its National Plan of Good Living, which has as a flag the Sumak Kawsay focusing on at least three objectives that the author considers relevant throughout the investigation. an analysis and interpretation will be done in order to understand how over those years of President Rafael Correa mandate this term has been transformed, and nestling responding to situations and desires of personalistic power figures..
