Entrepreneurial self efficacy variables for economics and business graduates: De Noble scale validation

Abstract:

The entrepreneurial self-efficacy according to the scale of De Noble et al. (1999) has been validated for economics and business graduates in Ecuador. Six constructs have been explained in a Structural Equation Model (SEM). The latent variable "product development and market opportunities" remained as a total mediator prior to the "entrepreneurial action". This work allowed us to conclude that there are causal relationships along a path of entrepreneurial selfefficacy that ends in the final behavior.
