Entrepreneurship and innovation: Dimensions for the study of the MSMEs of Azogues-Ecuador
Abstract:
Entrepreneurship and innovation represent substantial processes of economic activity, temporarily less than five years old with financing needs for working capital, which arise from the need to meet a market requirement. In this sense, the article aims to analyze the dimensions that affect the entrepreneurship and innovation of MSMEs in the canton of Azogues-Ecuador, in the commercial, manufacturing and agriculture sectors. Assimilating the alerts that come from low ratings in the participation of the total gross value added. The study is based on the scientific method and proposes a qualitative-quantitative approach, with an exploratory, descriptive, correlational and explanatory scope. It starts from an exhaustive review of the literature through construct theory and the dimensions are studied: Value for the client, digital transformation, competitive advantage and leadership. The empirical evidence allows corroborating in the study context that customer value and competitive advantage maintain a positive association in the entrepreneurship and innovation of MSMEs. It is concluded that the higher the rating in the customer value dimension, the more entrepreneurship and innovation are obtained, keeping the competitive advantage constant. Consequently, management efforts must focus on the proposed model.
