Entrepreneurship from a gender perspective


Abstract:

The aim of the research was to determine the entrepreneurship from a gender perspective through a sample of the inhabitants of the city of Machala. Analyzing the five dimensions by applying entrepreneurial skill scale validated by Flores (2003), information was collected through primary sources and linear regression models with dichotomous variables was used. The results show that the male has a greater entrepreneurial capacity than the female gender. It is considered that this study addresses future research about entrepreneurship from a gender perspective in different places.
