Environmental audit of a delayed coking pilot plant

Abstract:

An environmental audit of a delayed coking pilot plant that is going to be installed by the Tecali group of the USB was developed with the purpose of identifying the possible risks and advantages that its installation could carry to the personnel, the equipment and the community in general. The evaluation was based on both, the experience of the group that developed the audit, as well as on the Venezuelan laws that govern the conditions of work and, the handling and disposition of remainders. To achieve the objective, it was utilized the methodology of valuation proposed by Leopod. In addition measures were suggested to diminish these risks, obtaining improvements in some aspects that were taken in consideration like risk factors.
