Epidemic incidence of the canine distemperin the provinces of bolivar, the rivers, guayas and saint elena, equator
Abstract:
The objective of the investigation consisted on determining the epidemic incidence of the canine Distemper, with retrospective data in the provinces of Bolívar, The Rivers, Guayas and Saint Elena, Equator. The investigation was developed in the cities of Guaranda, Babahoyo, Guayaquil and Santa Elena, taking into account the period of the years 2013 at the 2015. It was carried out an observational epidemic study for those clinical histories of positive cases thatwere used. The obtained data was processed keeping in mind the descriptive qualitative statistical pattern and also the Microsoft Excel program was applied in 2007. The affection for Distemper canine one of the main consultation reasons represented during the period 2013-2015. In the obtained results the prevalence was; 80 negative% and 20 positive% in 1505 clinical histories; origin, 59% Bolívar, 25% Santa Elena, 9% Guayas and 7% The Ríos. The risk factors associated to the canine Distemper were: Race Frensh Poodle 33%; Male 61%; Age 43% 3er month; Condition corporal 65 thin%; Station climatic 72% summer; Signs clinical 35 general% (anorexy 20%) and Mortality 85%. As a conclusion we can say that the epidemic incidence for Distemper canine is a problem of health in the canine population of the provinces of the number 5 area.
