Equilibrium area under blurred logic focus in Ecuador’s flat ceramic sector
Abstract:
The objective of this study is to design a novel tool to determine an equilibrium area through confidence intervals (bands) in order to reduce uncertainty, developing expertise and counter-expertise techniques, where limits for fixed costs are determined. and variables for the companies in the ceramic sector in question. In the methodological field, the research focuses on the quantitative plane, by means of avant-garde tools typical of fuzzy logic, for the calculation of the market equilibrium area. The results Qe = [19,065.67, 32,268.52] square meters of flat ceramic, explain that any value that is located within the upper and lower limits of the band or confidence interval does not obtain losses or benefits. This new form of calculation will allow improving business management through efficient decision making at the management level.
