Estadificación y tratamiento del cáncer ginecológico, aplicación de la cirugá mínima invasiva Instituto Oncológico Nacional sede Guayaquil experiencia 2013 - 2015

Abstract:

This paper aims to review the indications, results and usefulness Invasive Surgery Minina the Gynecology Service of the National Cancer Institute "Dr. Juan Tanca Marengo "SOLCA Guayaquil for a period covering the years 2013 to 2015. Materials and methods: This study is observational, retrospective and analytic by records of clinical records obtained statistical area of Guayaquil SOLCA National Cancer Institute where 171 cases of malignant gynecological pathology treated with minimally invasive surgery were collected. Of the total of patients undergoing a surgical procedure during this period was 1701 cases. The basic parameters were evaluated hospital stay, type of tumors, the most common complications, conversion rate and the percentage of minimally invasive surgery in relation to conventional surgery. Results: In the period between January 2013 and December 2015 we performed 1,701 surgical procedures in the department of gynecology at the National Cancer Institute which which were performed laparoscopically were: 171 cases (10.05%) being hysterectomy Total simply the most common procedure 74.26% (127), radical hysterectomy 3.5% (6) 6.4% cystectomy, oophorectomy at 10.52%, conservative ovarian surgery 0, 58% in the ovarian cancer staging at 1.16% and laparoscopically diagnosed in 2.2%. Complications occurred in 10 patients (5.84%) and conversion in 3 patients (1.75%) by vascular injury, bladder perforation and postoperative blLaparoscopy, gynecologic, minimally invasive surgery
