Abstract:

Current technologies, together with an increase in the importance of Emergency Management (EM) in recent years, have enabled significant improvements in the way in which natural disasters are dealt with, passing from a public action characterized by improvised measures and response capabilities of government to a management model characterized by the ability to prevent and adapt, leveraged by the agility and effectiveness of emergency management systems (EMSs) and public safety networks (PSNs).
