Abstract:

Health education school programs have a planned activity structure that focus on developing awareness on the need of keeping an adequate integral health, through the teaching and learning processes within an appropriate methodological context that promotes students full development. It is expected that school health teachers are effective leaders; therefore, they must have certain leadership attributes and characteristics that help them promote healthy behaviors and decrease risky behaviors among students and enable them to acquire aptitudes, beliefs, knowledge and appropriate health practices. Heath school teachers are educational leaders that have a strong impact on their students while at the same time stimulate and motivate the students to achieve their goals.
