Estimación del estado actual de la biodiversidad y calidad del agua en un área de la concesión minera Benalcazar 1 cantón Camilo Ponce Enríquez, provincia del Azuay-Ecuador

Abstract:

This paper sought to estimate the current state of biodiversity and water quality in an area of the mining concession BENALCAZAR 1, which intervenes in the Uzhcurrumi forest. The flora was classified in: tree, shrub and herbaceous; fauna in: mastofauna, avifauna, herpetofauna and ictiofauna. According to the Shannon and Simpson index the diversity is average. According to the ICA calculation, the water quality is regular.
