An analisys on the suitability of selected newspaper material as a teaching resource in efl courses.

Abstract:

The gestation of a true, committed reader is in some ways a hard to achieve process, shaped in part by external forces but also by a spark within imagination. Having parents who posses a reading culture helps, but is no guarantee. Devoted teachers can also be influential. But despite the proliferation of book groups and literary blogs, reading is ultimately a private act; why people read and what they read is an unknown and personal thing.
