Estrategia didáctica virtual para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de “célula” en primero de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa “Luis Cordero”
Abstract:
The objective of this project is to contribute with a virtual didactic strategy in the teaching-learning process about the cell, for first year high school students. This was determined as a response to the detected problem of insufficient applicability of physical and virtual didactic resources in Biology classes. In the first part of this research, a systematization is made about the dynamics, experiments and simulations in the teaching- learning process of Biology; in order to relate the different theoretical references with the problematic in development. The methodology used to develop this work is based on field research with a mixed approach that combines qualitative and quantitative information. For this purpose, four data collection instruments were used: observation, surveys, pre-post-test and interview. The first three instruments were applied to a sample of 120 first year high school students form the "Luis Cordero" school in Azogues. And the interview was applied to the biology teacher of this institution. The third part of this research consists in the design, development and evaluation of the proposed intervention: a web page for the conceptualization, experimentation and simulation of cells. The data analysis allowed that the web page had a positive influence in the student's significant learning, since they were able to experiment and simulate biological facts and concepts. Meanwhile, for the teacher, the web page is a teaching aid for his classes.
