Estrategia educativa en información y comunicación sobre sexualidad en adolescentes de los décimos de educación básica del Colegio Nacional Técnico Herlinda Toral Cuenca, 2012
Abstract:
Objective: This research aims to implement an educational strategy on information and communication about adolescent sexuality tenths of Basic Education National Technical College "Herlinda Toral" Cuenca, 2012. Material and Methods: This is a descriptive study, which was conducted in the Basic Education tenths of National Technical College "Herlinda Toral" belonging to Cuenca Canton, during the school year 2011-2012. The sample consisted of 2220 adolescent students, we worked with a sample of 384 adolescents, corresponding to the tenths of basic education as the interview technique is used, the data collection was performed on a form developed by the authors was applied adolescents. The information obtained was processed in Excel and SPSS programs, which provided them with elements descriptive statistics for analysis. The data are presented in tabular form. Results: Of the 384 students in basic education have tickets: in religion 80.7% Catholic, 19.3% belong to another religion, sexuality is seen that 48.2% did not know about it, 51.8% have read, not giving importance. Home of the 5.4% sex remain sexually active, 94.6% have not had sex, contraceptive use of 21 students, 57.1% do not use any method, 14.2% used condom, 4.7% used the pill, 23.8% do not know if your partner has used some form of contraception. To implement the educational program we have taken into account the issues of greatest importance to students such as, 26% contraception, 22.3% of pubertal changes and sexuality, 23.4% of sexually transmitted diseases.
