07RECOVERY OF THE BIOLOGICAL SPACE. REVIEW OF THREE LITERATURES

Abstract:

The health of periodontal tissues is important to the success of a dental restoration. It has been observed that many restorative procedures do not respect the biological space, causing gum inflammation, loss of insertion of connective tissue and bone loss, so the objective of this systematic research is carrying out a bibliographic analysis comparing the different sources of information that address the concept of biological space, as well as treatments for its restoration. Within the methodology, was used qualitative-quantitative, observational, analytical and descriptive. Among the most relevant results, three articles were chosen that present different treatments to recover the biological space using the Er laser: YAG, technique with scalpel and radiosurgery; comparing its advantages and disadvantages.
