Estrategias de intervención urbana en la periferia de Loja Borde suroriental La Pradera
Abstract:
Abstract: At present, the peripheries in Latin America are governed by a concentrated scheme from which scattered urbanizations are derived, around or further away from the existing urban interface, where social problems are visualized, inadequate land uses and illegal buildings with low habitability. The present research work aims to identify the urban problems of the La Pradera sector and surrounding urbanizations of Colinas del Pucará, Yahuarcuna, Sierra Nevada and Los Rosales, located in the consolidated south-eastern end of the city of Loja and the area of influence, for its inclusion in the city development. The research proposes the analysis by layers of the urban, biophysical, basic infrastructure and green space and public environment; as well as social analysis and living in the sector, which despite being located towards the periphery of the city, has an immediate proximity to the downtown area. To achieve the objectives, a strategic planning methodology is proposed, which includes, among others, the study of referents and analogous cases, the analysis of the environment, the formulation of strategic vision and the development of urban intervention strategies for the sector.
