Estrés durante el embarazo en pacientes que acuden a la Unidad anidada. Gualaceo, 2017


Abstract:

The pregnancy is a normal and physiological process which one produces many changes and adaptations. The prenatal stress is one of the main problems during the gestation. Some stress during pregnancy is normal or common. According to study carried out by Lleida University in Spain 2014 – 2015 demonstrated that the 78% of pregnant women experimented low levels of moderated prenatal stress and the 6% experimented high levels. Objective: the stress was detected during pregnancy whose patients went to Unidad Anidada Gualaceo 2017. Material and Methods: It´s a descriptive study of a transversal cut. The universe was constituted for 300 pregnant women, who were evaluated in October 2016, in Gualaceo canton by the “Door to Door Campaign” without any maternal deaths; the studies were taken to 122 pregnant women. I get some data through and Holmes- Rahe’s stress scale. The information was entered in the SPSS program, 15 versions, which one was processed by the tabulation and presentation through descriptive data with a universal analysis on the corresponding percentages. Results: From 122 pregnant women surveyed, 20 (16.4%) had low stress, 56 (45.9%) had moderate stress, 46 (37.7%) had high stress; In addition, the causes of stress were determined, 27.9% were due to changes in sleeping habits, 20.5% change in eating habits, 17.2% change in economic situation, 16.4% The pregnancy like a stressor and 9.8% the marriage. Conclusion: 100% of the patients stress during pregnancy being the moderate stress level had a high incidence in pregnant women, followed by a significant percentage of high stress level and a low quantity of low stress level
