Estudio bibliográfico comparativo de la eficacia de extractos a base Urtica dioica como antibacterianos.
Abstract:
The following work aims to analyze the antibacterial activity present in the leaves of Urtica dioica by making various extracts. For the development of the study, a search was made of several bibliographic sources that are related to the extraction methods of the secondary metabolites with acetonic, methanolic solvents. ethanolic, chloroformic, and aqueous that present antibacterial activity. Most of the fundamental extracts studied are at the time of determining the secondary metabolites present both in the leaves, stem and root, being able to find metabolites such as flavonoids, tannins, phenols, saponins and even alkaloids. Through microbiological tests such as: the diffusion test in agar wells, disk diffusion methods, the well diffusion method, it was possible to determine the antibacterial activity that secondary metabolites present with solvents, being the extracts with different ethyl acetate. , methanol and ethanol from the leaves of Urtica dioica that have a greater inhibition halo, reaching a minimum inhibitory concentration of 5 to 15 mm in diameter against bacteria such as E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, B. sibtilis , thus demonstrating that the leaves of Urtica dioica do have antibacterial activity.
