Estudio comparativo de pavimento rígido tradicional y pavimento rígido con polvo de caucho reciclado para la vía e-30 que pasa por la localidad de la Maná de 3 km de longitud en la provincia de Cotopaxi
Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to compare traditional concrete and concrete with the addition of crushed tire, for this project a modulus of rupture of 4.2MPa was considered, the behavior analysis was carried out at 7, 14, and 28 days of conventional concrete and improved by means of cylinders and beams, which were evaluated in bending and compression, respectively. It was observed that after 28 days the designs reached their maximum resistance with the observation that the compression test the traditional concrete obtained greater resistance compared to the modified one, while in bending the modified concrete with 10% rubber obtained greater resistance than the modified concrete. traditional concrete. The design of the rigid pavement for the traditional concrete and the concrete improved with crushed rubber was carried out, it is concluded that by increasing the percentages of rubber, its resistance did not increase and the thickness of the slab did not decrease.
