Estudio comparativo sobre el uso de las tecnologías de la información y de la comunicación en séptimo año de educación general básica de los establecimientos: Unidad Educativa Quitumbe y de la Unidad Educativa Paulo VI, ubicados en el sector sur de la ciudad de Quito.


Abstract:

This study aims to determine the use and application of information technology and communication, to strengthen skills and abilities in students from two schools in the city of Quito. Data collection was performed by a field, with research, visits, surveys and interviews with teachers, officials, parents and students of the Educational Unit "Quitumbe" and Education Unit "Paul VI". The results of this research are: Students of schools investigated, often using ICT to do their jobs, jobs and more curricular activities in less time and with greater ease. Due to the massive incursion of ICT in schools quality of education has improved in every way. The use of ICT in education is essential as it offers to students of all levels the opportunity to acquire large capacity and increasingly appropriating new technologies. It is not enough to implement this technological resource, but adequate and appropriate use given to ICT to promote teaching and learning process in educational tasks.
