Estudio cuantitativo de los sistemas de comunicación en vehículos de la región andina mediante norma ISO 9141
Abstract:
In order to ensure the speed and accuracy of the communication, some lines of data also known as “data bus” are involved in the communication systems of vehicles. This “data bus” enters the engine, the air conditioning systems, the segurity system and other systems that can be accessible in a vehicle depending on it is model. The diagnosis system is a essential tool of communication between the control unit and the vehicle. The information obtained is used to settle a data basis and it is also intended to identify the working function of each pin of communication according to norm ISO 9141, as well as, to identify the sensors that make up the engine systems of each test vehicle by means of the KTS 570 scanner and AUTOBOSS V30 scanner from BOSCH. Once the level of functionality of each scanner has been determined, the oxygen sensor, witch is one of the most important sensor into the inyection system, is analyzed. The relevant information obtained throught this is then compared to a standard sensor containing data from the manufacturer. The present proyect was carried out in the highlands or Andean region, more specifically in the city of QUITO, analyzing factors of operation of vehicles with systems OBD II.
