Estudio de coordinación de las protecciones en base a herramientas computacionales aplicable a la subestación eléctrica puerto santa ana

Abstract:

This paper is an application of the philosophy of electrical protection provided by relays to the electrical substation Puerto Santa Ana, which has managed to coordinate and adjust elements of protection according to designs of the substation and its feeders. To achieve our goal we developed load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, coordination of electrical protection applying computer software and the use of the appropriate standards. The practical and theoretical assumptions exposed were based on the experience in distribution of electrical engineers and on the analysis of the mathematical equations of the system.
