An optimization method for the data space partition obtained by classification techniques for the monitoring of dynamic processes

Abstract:

In this paper, a new method for the automatic optimization of the classes obtained by application of fuzzy classification techniques is presented. We propose the automatic validation and adjustment of the partition obtained. The new approach is independent of the type of fuzzy classification technique and can be applied in the supervision of complex processes. © 2006 The authors and IOS Press.
