Abstract:

The present research project was carried out with the purpose of determining the viability of implementing an ice cream shop, which will offer ice cream flavored with traditional drinks of the city of Loja, Being this a very important reference which allows that it is different from the rest of ice cream that exist in the locality giving him consequently presents / displays a strong competitive advantage in the market, Attracting the attention of big and children with the new flavors, and managed to capture the attention to tourism which would lead to obtain stability in the economic - Financial sector by giving sources of work generating income for the families and on the other hand as decreases the Population Economically Inactive (PEI). The ice cream shop is located in the center of the city of Loja, on Avenida Maximiliano Rodríguez and Azuay corner, place which provides the conditions to be able to arrive without any inconvenience, either in private or public vehicles and also walking; on the other side in the same street of the ice cream shop is the main bus stop, this will allow the attention of more potential customers increasing sales of the same; a service will be provided from 08:00 am until 10:00 pm without uninterrupted time to provide quality and satisfaction with the service and product that will be offered fulfilling one of the goals raised, that of supplying the unsatisfied demand under study; For which the present work is important since it allows determining the investments to be made for the start-up and on the other hand to detect the profitability.
