Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de un prestador de servicios de sacrificio y faenamiento de aves en el cantón Bucay, año 2019.

Abstract:

Bucay is an agricultural and livestock town, through a census it was determined that within its locality there are 4 poultry farms dedicated to the production of birds for sales to micro entrepreneurs, with an average production of 5 thousand birds per month, and only one of them is dedicated to poultry slaughtering. 75% only distribute the standing birds, they do not enter the market of slaughtered birds due to financing and lack of knowledge of the market, which highlights their interest in providing birds if a lender of slaughter and slaughtering services is implemented in the area. The implementation of this service requires an investment of $238,859.32 USD financed over 5 years, obtaining a NPV of $9,9593.01 USD and an IRR of 26.72%. Sensitivity varies according to the scenario, in the optimistic scenario the NPV is $144137.76 USD and the IRR is 29.64%, and in the pessimistic scenario the NPV is $-206430.91 USD and the IRR is -20.99%. The correct management of resources guarantees the payment of the debt and the continuous operation of the business, which opens local labor opportunities and at the same time guarantees food safety in poultry slaughtered for consumption, being a socially responsible business.
