Abstract:

This project is to determine the feasibility of create a micro enterprise among small rice producers of Plan America in canton Daule, dedicated to de development of an energy drink derived from rice for distribution as part of the school breakfast in this canton. Rice contains properties of nutrition beneficiaries; energy, protein, vitamins, minerals, etc.; components required in the daily diet, therefore it is de ideal place to be part of a food supplement for elementary school children food. And at the same time generate other sources of income for farmers. According to the study, the beneficiaries of the school breakfast, need variety products into snacks, and accept this drink as part of their breakfast. Its flavor was later accepted a process of tasting, and finally the result of the study it is determined that the project is viable.
