Estudio de factibilidad para la implementación y operación de un consultorio oftalmológico en el sector Comité del Pueblo, en la ciudad de Quito, año 2018.

Abstract:

The demand for ophthalmological services in Comité del Pueblo, in Quito, has been the starting point of this research work. From that need arises the decision to propose the implementation of an ophthalmological office that provides medical services in the sector and its surroundings. To determine the viability of the opening of the office, a work has been carried out that includes a market investigation capable of defining the current supply and demand of the services, as well as their prices and their commercialization. In addition, a market study has been conducted that has allowed to define the size, location and engineering to be used in the project. Finally, the financial study facilitated the obtaining of indicators that have been used to know the viability of the project from an economic-financial point of view. Throughout this document the real need of the office is verified, and its profitability and social value is corroborated, as it contributes to the provision of medical services in a sector where the demand has not been covered by other health institutions.
