Estudio de ingeniería de la transición de televisión analógica a digital de Ambavisión canal 2 de la ciudad de Ambato.

Abstract:

The present degree work has been made with the objective of developing an engineering study, to Ambavision 2tv channel in Ambato city. With the objective of analog television signal migration in to land digital tv, within the process called analogical blackout. The one that started in Ecuador in 2010, when the country adopted the ISDB-TB standard. Also, It shows the interactive design on the ISDB-TB standard using Ginga. The process started with an analogic tv transmission system checking that the channel works with, with the information obtained coverage simulations were done, taking into account that its signal covers the Tungurahua and Cotopaxi provinces. Later digital television coverage simulations were made using part of the infrastructure that the channel already have, the one that can be reused for digital television. Taking that into account, also, an economic study about the cost of the transition from analogic to digital tv has been made, through proformas issued by providers that have the necessary equipment. Contrasting between the cost with the cannel economic capacity. It is concluded that, taking into account all the mentioned aspects, this study is viable and feasible for its execution. It is recommended to have trained staff, in order to take advantage of all the benefits that this technology provides.
