Estudio de la fertilización orgánica sobre algunas propiedades químicas del suelo y el desarrollo fenológico del cultivo de café.

Abstract:

The objective of this study was to evaluate and communicate the best dose of organic fertilizer in a monoculture of coffee in the province of Loja, for the improvement of the chemical characteristics (pH, organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) of soil, phonological development (height of the plant, canopy width and diameter of the stem) and crop productivity. There was a split-splot experimental design. There was an initial soil sampling (not fertilized) and then another end (fertilized), parameters to determine were: pH (ratio of 1:2.5 ground-water), organic matter (Walkey & AMP; Black), nitrogen (micro Kjeldahl), phosphorus (Murphy & AMP; Riley) and potassium (Olsen). To assess the physiological development was carried out three measurements every four months. The estimate of the production was carried out at the end of the harvest. The final results indicate that the organic treatments improved the variables studied, treatment ORG3 obtained better results with statistically significant changes in soil nutrients evaluated and phenological variables. Indicating that the organic fertilizers, in low or high doses, contributes to a better productivity compared to not apply fertilizer. Key words: Coffee, soil, organic fertilizers, phenological development, productivity
