Estudio de mercado para la implementación de una operadora turística, en la parroquia San Andrés de Canoa, en el cantón San Vicente, en la provincia de Manabí

Abstract:

In recent years, Canoa Beach has gained some popularity as a destination for water sports. What remains a well-kept secret is that the parish of San Andrés de Canoa has a privileged geographic location within the province of Manabi, that it has several other natural and cultural attractions, and that it is actually a place for much more than surf and sailing. This research study, which has as its objective the creation of a community tourism operator in said parish, is privy to the fact that San Andres de Canoa possesses all the elements needed to attract a highly profitable and beneficial tourism, particularly for a community that has few stable industrial sources and a low level of education. The first chapter, which disclosed the purpose, stated the problem and delivered the justification of the study, explains this in detail. The second chapter, the theoretical framework, enters the world of community tourism and the current reality of this beautiful parish, and shows the reader the most relevant aspects to consider when a project of this nature is carried out. The third and fourth chapters introduce the research that took place and indicate the results of said research. The fifth chapter demonstrates the feasibility of the creation of this tourism operating facility and brings to light the technical and legal aspects of its implementation. The last few pages display the conclusions and recommendations that should be borne in mind when bringing this project to life.
